24-HOUR ADMISSION TO INPATIENT ADDICTION TREATMENT

How does the inpatient admission process work at New England Recovery Center (NERC)? Before you walk through the doors of our Westborough MA treatment facility, you will have already received a call from a member of our admission staff who will orient you to the process that lies ahead. Based on your initial phone call, the team will determine what level of care you need and begin preparing for your admission to our inpatient treatment program.

WHAT TO EXPECT DURING YOUR ADDICTION TREATMENT PROGRAM ADMISSION

Our goal on day one is to help you acclimate to the program and become as comfortable as possible. The admissions process at NERC includes these steps:

  • To begin, you will meet with our admissions staff and a nurse who will complete the required paperwork
  • Next, staff will conduct an initial assessment and perform a preliminary drug screening test
  • The treatment program’s rules and expectations will be reviewed with you
  • You’ll receive a tour of the facility including your assigned bedroom, and introduce you to your roommate and other program staff.

Our knowledgeable and caring staff will help guide you throughout the admission process and answer any questions that may arise.

Those who require medically monitored detoxification will be assigned a case manager who will work with you to prepare for the next step in your recovery journey. Upon completion of the detoxification process, we strongly encourage that clients transition to our inpatient rehabilitation program for continued treatment.

Once admitted to our inpatient rehabilitation program, you’ll immediately be assigned a primary clinician who will be with you every step of the way. Each person’s situation and recovery journey are different. Therefore, your clinician will work with you to develop an individualized addiction treatment plan that incorporates your strengths and addresses your challenges.

Your clinician will also work with family members of your choosing to further support your treatment. We strongly encourage family involvement during team meetings to discuss your current progress in treatment and continuing care plans.

In order to provide you with the highest quality of services, your clinician will incorporate additional qualified members of the interdisciplinary team such as our physician, nurse practitioner, registered nurses, licensed clinical social workers, licensed mental health clinicians, family engagement specialists, continuing care specialists and recovery specialists.
